THIS IS THE AMANQUEMACK X-1A VARIETY WITH THE TWILL RIGHT ROUGH, TRR, NOT TWILL RIGHT MEDIUM, TRM, CLOTH MATERIAL BACKGROUND, BKGD, AND CLOTH UNDER THE EMBROIDERY. THE TWILL ON THIS PATCH IS SLIGHTLY DARKER THAN THE X-1B, AND THERE IS NOT AS MUCH WHITE BACK STITCH ON THE BACK OF THE PATCH, ESPECIALLY ON THE BACK OF THE DARK BLUE BORDER. This Patch Was For Lodge 470 Amanquemack Members When The Lodge Was Under This Name From 1952 To 1954, and Was For Wear On The Activities Pocket Of The BSA Scout Uniform, Below The OA Flap. THIS PATCH WAS ISSUED DURING THE AGE OF THE OA WEARING ODD SHAPE PATCHES BEFORE THE OA FLAP BECAME THE SHAPE AND PLACE FOR THE OA PATCH.
