The National Boy Scout Jamboree for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) was held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Mt. Hope, West Virginia from July 19 – July 28 2017. This 5 piece patch set was created for the medical staff at the jamboree. Diamond has been creating and giving these patches out to the medical staff since the 1977 jamboree 40 years!! Chasen joined him in this venture in 2013 and again in 2017. This is the participant set of 5 patches. Each person working on medical staff at the jamboree received ONE patch (physician, nurse, emt, medical staff, or public health and safety) based on their job at the jamboree. One for Physician with an orange background and caduceus. One for Nurse with a red background and heart. One for EMT with a blue background and the star of life logo. One for Public Health and Safety Dr. Diamond’s position at the jamboree with a purple border and torch. Finally, for anyone who doesn’t fit into the first 4 categories, a green border Medical Staff with a green cross. There are only 100 possible complete sets of these patches available, and in truth, many fewer as most of these were given away as gifts to the staff. Get yours while you can.
