Vintage 1940s BSA Boy Scouts Uniform Badges Sash Ring Patches Cards Pins Lg Lot
Great collection of vintage Boy Scouts of America items! All these items came from one person (my relative) and came from his time as a Boy Scout in the mid 1940’s. Apparently he became a Eagle Scout, but items from that have not been discovered yet (we are still uncovering). Earliest date i saw was a 1944, Salt Lake City items. Also items from when the family lived in Lincoln Nebraska and finally Dayton, Ohio. Mostly 1946 & 1947. I tried to organize the lot so items form the same place or type are together. Uniform shirt, shoulder patches off the sleeve – found one and is included. Sash with merit badges (12) and have the matching Award cards filled out (to the left of the sash): Troop 55, Mechanical Drawing, Electricity, Metal Work, Aeronautics, Wood Carving, Firemanship, Personal Health, Cooking, Public Health & Physical Development. 3 Award cards with matching merit badges that are not on the sash: Safety, Handicraft & Indian Lore. 4 Award cards with no merit badges: Forestry, First Aid, Automobiling & Wood working. Various patches, Cornhuskers council, Troop 55, and several that i have not a clue about! BSA whistle and lanyard. Neckerchief (also one from the BSA Cub scouts). Pins: 3 bar green Jr. Scoutmaster, Law Enforcement Service ribbon pins. Sterling silver BSA ring. Interesting old arrowhead with engraved sterling silver band and turquoise stone. Please note condition box for best description of any wear. The item “Vintage 1940s BSA Boy Scouts Uniform Badges Sash Ring Patches Cards Pins Lg Lot” is in sale since Monday, October 29, 2018.
